What’s your favourite piece to play? This is up there for me—so simple, heartfelt, and brings back memories of learning the piano. Brahms wrote these waltzes as a gift for a friend, originally conceived as piano duets. Funny how some of the most beautiful music starts as something else.

Do you schedule your piano practice? 🎹⏰ When life gets busy, it’s so easy to let practice slide. But setting a time for it—just like any other commitment—keeps you accountable and takes away the anxiety of wondering if you’re doing enough, or maybe too much!

Planning ahead makes sure you stay on track too. If I can see how many hours I’ve played this week, and my playing is not where I’d like it be, i can work on adjusting how or what I practice. A little structure goes a long way!
